Karuna-Shechen invites you to the GoodPlanet Foundation for the third edition of the Altruistic Encounters. A weekend dedicated to reflection, inspiration, and altruistic action, bringing together individuals committed to building a more united and peaceful world.

We invite you to come and contemplate 26 black and white photographs printed on Awagami Japanese paper, at the Quartier Libre space of SIG, in the heart of Geneva (free entry). Each print is accompanied by a handwritten quote by Matthieu Ricard, to cultivate altruism and place it at the core of our decisions.

The Cnam, through the Lirsa laboratory and the Master IES, is hosting, in collaboration with Effective Altruism France, an event with Peter Singer, distinguished utilitarian philosopher from the chair of ethics at Princeton University (United States), professor at Charles-Sturt University (Melbourne), and pioneer of effective altruism. He will be present to share the results of decades of research on how we can have an impact on our fellow beings.
