Thought of the week
One day, I observed a butterfly resting on a flower, gently swaying in the breeze. It would sip nectar and then, for no apparent reason, fly away, fluttering here and there, only to return and spread its beautiful blue wings on the orange pistil. This repetitive display reminded me of instructions on how to stabilize the mind: "When you realize that you are distracted by new thoughts, come back again and again to the object of your concentration. If your mind becomes fatigued and your concentration relaxes, simply let it rest in its natural state, preserving that inner freedom without encouraging or suppressing thoughts."
